Thank you for checking out the inauguration of the Connecticut Psychiatric and Wellness Center blog. The purpose of this blog is to provide information about our services and about mental health in general. We will be posting every couple of weeks, so please save our link for our future postings.
Connecticut Psychiatric and Wellness Center (CPWC) is a mental health practice located in southern CT. We offer outpatient psychotherapy and medication management, as well as interventional psychiatries. We will speak about our services offerings in future blog postings, but please reach out to our office at 203-298-9005 if you have questions that require prompt attention.
COVID-19 and CPWC
Together, we are facing unprecedented hardships with the Coronavirus pandemic. While the state of CT begins it’s reopening on May 20th, we understand that there are uncertainties and concerns we face as we reopen. CPWC continues to implement procedures to keep our patients and staff safe while attending to mental health needs.
TELEHEALTH AND OUTPATIENT THERAPY AT CPWC
The greatest change at CPWC is that some of our providers and administrative staff are working remotely to encourage social distancing. For the providers who are working remotely full time, all intakes and follow ups are conducted via telehealth. Some of our providers are still conducting in-office appointments, so we can accommodate patients who prefer a face-to-face appointment.
Please note that CPWC will need the following information for all new telehealth clients:
1. Completed Intake Packet
2. Driver’s License
3. Insurance Card - Front and Back
4. Signed Telehealth Consent Form
OTHER SERVICES AT CPWC
Our Woodbridge office is temporarily closed, so we have a wait list for QBTest for ADHD assessment. If you would like additional information for QBTest, please contact Edith at email@example.com.
We will provide updates as we reopen the Woodbridge office and transition back from telehealth services. We thank you for staying with us as we navigate through these uncertain times. We stay well and stay safe.
We look forward to having you join us in our future posts!
